Halle Berry, as many other actresses, started as a model. She was Miss Teen USA at the age of 17 and a year later she was the first runner-up in the Miss USA competition. Her firts important role was in Spike Lee's "Jungle Fever" but her real first hit was in "Boomerang" as Eddie Murphy's love interest.
