Gabrielle Union started in modelling in a weird way. She was a college intern in that agency before actually modelling. However, her modelling carreer was short lived since she soon started getting acting roles in several TV series episodes. Soon she worked in a few teen romantic comedies (She's all that, 10 things I hate about you) where she had expanded supporting roles. In 2000 she got a role in the soon-cancelled medical drama "City of Angels" and one of the main roles in Bring it on along with Kirsten Dunst.
