Cate Blanchett is an Australian actress of worldwide fame. Her first worldwide famous role was in Elizabeth, 1998, where she played the title character. She won the Golden Globe and was nominated for an Oscar due to her performance. In case somebody did not know her by then she played the role of Elf Queen Galadriel in the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
