Charisma Carpenter went into global stardom with her role as Cordelia Chase in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". Her first role in a TV series was Malibu Shores one year earlier. But even before that she was a cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers. After two seasons in "Buffy" her character moved to Buffy's spinoff Angel.
